Voici les sides de l'épisode:
Fran - 1 short scene. OB patient. Dr. Simpson delivers her son.
Tyler - Scene is in Tyler's hospital room. Dr. Jacobson and Dr. Smith enter and find Alice and Gus Moser. Gus is in the bed and Alice is yelling at him.
Tyler comes out of the bathroom. He has a leg that is angled oddly which causes him to crouch. He smiles at Dr. Smith and extends his hand to Dr. Jacobson. He says he's not staring at her boobs. OK, he is but he can't help it, referring to his crouching because of his leg.
Night - Dr. J updates the family and the parent leave. Tyler says he needed a break. Dr. J says surgery brings out the worst in people, Tyler says marriage does. e's grateful they dropped everything to care for him but he needs peace and is moving when he is better.
Dr. J leaves and Tyler closes his eyes. Says ouch and we see Dr. T rubbing his foot with a pen. Has to test reflexes every half our to make sure no nerve damage from surgery.
Morning - Dr. S rubs the pen on sleeping Tyler's foot and Tyler doesn't move. Dr. S presses harder.
Tyler says he's still not paralyzed and asks Dr. S if she knows she snores. She says yes but she's been told its adorable. Tyler says its not.
Night - Dr. J and Tyler watch and Alice and Gus insult one another. Tyler tells them to get a divorce, says he gets it. They had to stay together until he was out of HS, then college and the femur thing happened. Its fine now and he is going to be able to care for himself so they are free to divorce. Its obvious they hate each other so go to the court and get a divorce.
Dr. J looks at Tyler and asks how that felt, Tyler says awesome.
Clay - Paramedics bring in pregnant Mary Tweel. Her husband Clay holds a video camera as she's transferred to a room. Mary tells him not to point the camera at her and he says she is beautiful. Dr. Jacobs rushes in and is hurrying to ready for delivery. Clay is taping, Mary is in pain. Mary and Clay going back and forth about the taping. Mary yells 'Cancer!' and says she calls cancer on the camera. Clay tells her she can't, she says its her cancer and she makes the rules. Dr. Jacobs looks at the nurse as Clay puts down the camera. Clay says that she has grade 4 cancer, Dr. J says he could have led with that and Clays says its been hectic.
Day - Dr. Smith shows Mary and Clay new scans. Mary holds the baby. Clay isn't convinced, Mary loves the doctor. Clay and Mary discussing, Clay wants more time, Mary wants to do it and says they decided. Clay yells "Emma!". Says that Mary got to call cancer so he gets to call Emma. They have a daughter now and she needs these 6 months with her. Tells Mary to please not do this.
Night - Parking lot. Clay is frustrated trying to click the car seat in. He sees Dr. Jacobs. Dr. Jacobs leans in and clicks the car seat in and tells him the arrows need to line up. Dr. J says he heard that Dr. Smith came by. Clay says that he's sure he's a great surgeon but he just had a baby today and wants to be happy for at least today, maybe a couple more months. Dr. Jacobs says that she (Mary) wants more than that, months aren't enough. Clay says they made the decision months ago, they discussed. Dr. J says that when you are pregnatn its one thing but its different when you see your baby. It makes you want more. Clay says he's not ready for her to die. Dr. J says she isn't ready either and that's why she wants to fight.
Night - hallway. Dr. Smith finds Clay in the waiting room. Clay stands. Dr. Smith smiles and tells him they got the cancer. Clay dissolves into tears holding on tight to the baby. Tells her she has a mommy.
